One Pot Spaghetti

1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 large (32 oz.) can chicken broth (4 cups)
3 cups water
2 (6oz.) cans tomato paste
2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 box (12-ounces) dried spaghetti, broken
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Add some olive oil to a large pot and saute your onions and garlic over medium-low heat until tender.  Add all your other ingredients except the spaghetti or parmesan cheese.

Bring your sauce to a boil.  Add your broken spaghetti directly to the sauce and continue to very gently boil, uncovered for 20 minutes, or until the spaghetti is tender. Be sure and stir often, scraping the bottom of the pot.

Just before serving, top with grated parmesan cheese. (Makes fantastic leftovers :)
