Spicy Ranch Crackers

I had never had these before until a friend brought them to work the other day...they are absolutely my favorite snack right now. They are as crispy and flavorful as you would hope. Promise. Everyone at work agreed. Another co-worker even mentioned that he had made these using the little oyster crackers (you would have to decrease the oil measurement for sure). Another said he used Cheez-It crackers for this too, again, using much less oil.

1 1/4 cup Canola oil
1 box of saltine crackers (4 sleeves)
1 package dry Ranch dressing mix
red pepper flakes

In a large container (with a lid) pour the Canola oil over your crackers and gently toss....it sounds like alot of oil, and you will think they will get soggy, TRUST me, they do not. Add your Ranch mix and pepper flakes (opt) and toss again. You will need to gently toss your container over a few times to let the oil and seasoning continue to coat all the crackers. That's it.
Thanks Sam Watts for the idea!
