Super Fluffy and Light Frosting

I swear the heavens opened up and down came the best frosting recipe that ever lived! Can you tell I really am tickled about this recipe? I don't care for a "too sweet" frosting, so this was just the perfect frosting for me! It's so light and fresh and, oh yeah, fluffy! 

1 small box of Jello Instant Pudding
1 cup of milk
1 tub of Cool Whip topping

If you would like it a bit sweeter, add 1/4 cup of powdered sugar.
You can change the flavoring by simply changing the flavor of the pudding.
Use butterscotch flavored pudding and enjoy as a wonderful fruit dip.

Combine your Pudding mix and milk. Blend or whisk for 2 minutes, or until thickened up.  Fold in your Cool Whip.  That's it!  Be sure and let your cake (or whatever your baking) cool before frosting.

  2. Hey Tracy, in this recipe, you would use an 8 oz. carton of Cool Whip and 3.4 oz. size of pudding. If you were making a larger batch, you could use the 16 oz. tub and a large box of pudding. I just found another idea to use this great recipe in too..YUM!
