Grape Juice Jelly

3 cups Grape Juice ROOM TEMPERATURE
1 box Pectin
4 1/2 cups Sugar

Step one is to get your water boiling. In a big pot. This process takes the longest.

Mix the grape juice and the pectin.

Whisk till the pectin has dissolved and bring them to a boil.  Make sure you are stirring frequently and make sure it’s really boiling.

Add the sugar, this will drop your boil down, just bring it back up to a rolling boil. Once it’s boiling set your timer for 5 minutes. Make sure to stir.

If you have any foam arise after the 5 minutes of boiling, just skim it off. I have had times where I did get foam, and times where I did not. Who knows.
Pour the jelly into your jars leaving the 1/4 of and inch head space. (a funnel will come in very handy here.)

Make sure that you wipe the rims of your jars good. Even a tiny speck of undissolved sugar can prevent your jar from sealing. So, don't skip this step!

Process in your boiling water bath for 10 minutes.

As the jars cool the lids should seal and most of the time you will hear a pop. That's your jars sealing.

Once the jars are cool, check to see if the lids are sealed. If they did not, either try the processing again with a new lid or just pop the jar in the fridge and use it 1st.
