Classic Cheese Ball


2 packages cream cheese, softened
3-3 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 packet Ranch-style dressing mix
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp sea salt
2 cups nuts (I use the Dollar Store brand of mixed nuts $2)

Combine all ingredients, except nuts, in a large bowl. Mix together thoroughly and either form into one large balll, or maybe two smaller balls, depending on how much you are making.

Coat ball(s) by rolling in chopped nuts.

Refrigerate overnight if possible, but if not, then at least 2 hours.

Flatten the bottom of your ball so it does not roll around while slicing.

Tip~This is a very versatile recipe.  Additions like Spinach or Salsa or Pimentos, ect. are some great additions too if you want to jazz it up a little.
